Do I exaggerate?
I invite you all to visit
Each intricately wrought piece is presented with its own story. While !Heterodyning is quick to acknowledge that many of the items were inspired by Studio Foglio's online comic, Girl Genius, the tales she works into each piece make them inhabit a world entirely their own.
Take the Archaic Chronometer, a silver pendant made of, as far as I could tell, small clock gears and crystals set amongst other curious shapes and elements. Its maker wrote then that "...this Chonometer was once used to navigate the Seas of Time." With that one line accompanying the image, I was transported immediately to the land of her far-reaching vision.
I'd like to think that somewhere in the stream of time, careless beings of great power collide. It is in their sundered sparks that !Heterodyning finds the material with which she creates -- raw energy shaped by a relentless, unfettered imagination.

This should have been a proper feature for my dear friend, but I've just discovered I cannot add images to my journal as I am not a subscriber.
